【摘要】:Thismethodhasbeenpreparedtodetectandquantitatenitrogen-containingcompoundssuchasN-formylmorpholine(4-formylmorpholine,ChemicalAbstractServicenumbers(CAS)No.250-37-6)or1-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone(NMP)(CAS)No.872-50-42ataconcentrationof1.0mgN/kgorlessinaromatichydrocarbonsusedorproducedinmanufacturingprocesses.Thesenitrogen-containingcompoundsareundesirableinthefinishedaromaticproductsandmaybetheresultofthearomaticextractionprocess.Thistestmethodmaybeusedinsettingspecificationsfordeterminingthetotalnitrogencontentinaromatichydrocarbons.Note18212;Virtuallyallorganicandinorganicnitrogencompoundswillbedetectedbythistechnique.Thistechniquewillnotdetectdiatomicnitrogenanditwillproduceanattenuatedresponsewhenanalyzingcompounds(thatis,s-triazineandazocompounds,etc.)thatformnitrogengas(N2)whendecomposed.Thistestmethodrequirestheuseofreducedpressureatthedetector.Lossofvacuumorpressurefluctuationsimpactthesensitivityofthedetectorandtheabilitytodeterminenitrogenconcentrationslessthan1mg/kg.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftotalnitrogen(organicandinorganic)inaromatichydrocarbons,theirderivativesandrelatedchemicals.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicableforsamplescontainingnitrogenfrom0.2to2mgN/kg.ForhighernitrogenconcentrationsrefertoTestMethodD4629.1.2.1Thedetectorresponseofthistechniquewithinthespecifiedscopeofthistestmethodislinearwithnitrogenconcentration.1.3Thefollowingappliestoallspecifiedlimitsinthistestmethod:forpurposesofdeterminingconformancewiththistestmethod,anobservedvalueoracalculatedvalueshallberoundedoff"tothenearestunit"inthelastright-handdigitusedinexpressingthespecificationlimit,inaccordancewiththerounding-offmethodofPracticeE29.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection9.
