【摘要】:ThisEuropeanstandardspecifiessafetyrequirementsrelatingtothedesignandconstructionofmulti-rollcalendersintendedfortheprocessingofrubberorplastics.Thisstandardconcernsthecalenderaloneincludingallcomponentsfixedtoitsframe.AnnexAshowsexamplesofvarioustypesofcalendersandannexBshowsexamplesofcalendaringprocesses.Thefollowingmachinesareexcluded:-two-rollcalendersforminganintegralunitwithanextruder(rollerhead);-twoorthree-rollpolishing,laminatingorembossingunits(whicharenotcalenders)installeddownstreamofextrudersinfilmprocessinglines.Thisstandarddealswiththesignificanthazardslistedinclause4.Thefollowinghazardsarenotdealtwith:-hazardsgeneratedbythematerialsbeingprocessed(seeinformativeannexC);-hazardsgeneratedbytheprocessingofexplosivematerials,ormaterialswhichgiverisetoanexplosiveatmosphere;-firehazardsduetoignitionofflammablematerialsbycontactwithhotpartsofthecalender(e.g.incaseofoilleakage);-hazardsduetoelectromagnetic,laserorionisingradiation;-hazardsgeneratedifthecalenderisinstalledinanexplosiveatmosphere.ThisstandardappliestomachinerymanufacturedafterthedateofapprovalofthisstandardbyCEN.
