【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverszinc-coatedsteelweldedwirereinforcement,plainanddeformed,oracombinationofdeformedandplainwires,forreinforcementofconcrete,insizesnotlessthan0.080in.[2.03mm]andovernominaldiameterforplainwireand0.113in.[2.87mm]andoverfordeformedwire.1.2Thisspecificationisintendedtobeapplicabletocold-workedwire,drawnorrolled,plainordeformed,coatedinacontinuousprocess.1.3Analternativetoacontinuouscoatingprocessofwirebeforefabricationisahot-dipprocess,wheretheweldedwirereinforcementisimmersedinabathofmoltenzinc.Note18212;Dataonthecorrosionresistanceofgalvanizedsteelsinconcretearelimited.Theuseriscautionedthatthelaboratorytestingperformedonthismaterialhasbeeninsufficientandmaynotaccuratelyreflecttheperformanceofthematerialwhenembeddedinconcreteasreinforcement.1.4Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundorSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
